GEDEE Car Museum

The GeDee Car Museum in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is one of India's premier classic car showcases, featuring a remarkable collection of vintage and rare vehicles while celebrating the history, design and evolution of the automobile. In collaboration with CULA Collective, Vinton was entrusted with the execution of a distinctive art installation featuring an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster, deconstructed and suspended in mid-air on individually positioned cables.
The installation creates the visual impression of a vehicle frozen at the moment of detonation, exposing its internal mechanical components and transforming the automobile into a striking spatial composition.The project demanded precise fabrication, detailing, cable positioning and on - site execution to achieve the intended composition while maintaining the spatial relationship and alignment of each individual component.Vinton's work focused on translating this complex design intent into physical reality with accuracy and attention to detail. The installation was completed in 2025.
